Ramp’s corporate finance platform is now available in the United Kingdom, led by Jacob Wallenberg.

Ramp is now offering its corporate finance platform in the United Kingdom, signifying the fintech company’s initial major growth move outside North America. This integrated suite combines corporate cards, expense management, invoice processing, purchasing, travel, treasury services, and automated accounting. Jacob Wallenberg, Vice President of International Expansion at Ramp, is spearheading this entry into the British marketplace.

The firm reports that over 70,000 organizations utilize its system worldwide, with the average client cutting costs by 5% and boosting revenue by 16% during their first year of use. The UK rollout is bolstered by an expanding London workforce and regulatory payment capabilities acquired via Ramp’s purchase of Billhop, a payments company based in Stockholm and London.

UK Expansion

Britain hosts some of Europe’s swiftest-growing enterprises, and Ramp has tailored its offerings to fit this environment. The company maintains a London office and is prepared to begin operations immediately. Ramp’s credit cards for the UK are provided by Stripe Payments UK, an electronic money institution regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Visa scheme.

Ramp is focusing on businesses that are AI-driven, as finance departments encounter a new type of spending: fees for AI tokens. According to data, client spending on artificial intelligence has increased roughly 21 times since June 2025, while the biggest AI spenders have witnessed cost hikes of 50% or more within a single quarter.

Token Spend Management

Ramp’s tools for managing token costs are intended to give financial leaders a single, full view of AI expenditures. The software categorizes spending by model and team, separates cost of goods sold from operating costs, and highlights irregularities and chances to save money. Jacob Wallenberg states, “The issue is not that companies are spending too much on AI, it’s that they’re spending blindly.”

Ramp has also introduced Router, which connects AI requests with the most affordable model capable of completing the task. Other recent product launches include stablecoin payments that support USDC and USDT transfers, as well as Ramp Stack, an AI operating system designed for accountants and accounting firms.

UK Customers

Ramp started accepting UK companies during the summer beta testing period. Early adopters include the AI voice agents company ElevenLabs and the London-based customer relationship management platform Attio. ElevenLabs employs Ramp for bill payments, corporate cards, and the management of AI token spending, whereas Attio uses Ramp’s corporate cards and expense controls to streamline its financial operations.

Maciej Mylik, Finance at ElevenLabs, remarks, “We don’t want to build at the frontier only in research and product. We want it in every function we have, including this one. Which means breaking the stereotype that a finance team scales with the company.” Roberto Restrepo, Head of Finance at Attio, adds, “Ramp has completely changed how I spend my time. Instead of managing finance tools, I can focus on driving the business forward.”

Ramp’s technological and commercial partners include Visa, Billhop, and Stripe Payments UK. The organization has secured $750m in funding at a valuation of $44bn and reported positive free cash flow as of June 2026. Ramp facilitates more than $200bn in yearly purchases and has assisted clients in collectively saving over $12bn and 27 million hours.
