Happiest Minds files IPO papers with Sebi; JP Morgan fund to exit
Bengaluru-headquartered IT services company Happiest Minds has filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator Sebi for its initial public offering (IPO).
The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 110 crore and an offer for sale of 35.2 million shares by the company’s promoter Ashok Soota as well as private equity investor JP Morgan CMDB II, the prospectus showed. JP Morgan will exit its over five-year investment in the IT services firm if the IPO goes through.

For the second consecutive month in FY21, new business premium of life insurance companies have recorded negative growth due to the coronavirus outbreak. In May, new business premium of life insurers contracted 25.39 per cent to Rs 13,739 crore from Rs 18,414 crore in the same period a year ago. In the first two months of FY21, life insurers saw their new business premium fall almost 30 per cent to Rs 20,466.76 crore compared to Rs 28,395.90 crore in FY20.

Sebi gives 3-month window to unlisted bond issuers to get securities listed
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) has given a three-month window to unlisted bond issuers to get their securities listed, which would help debt mutual funds (MFs) bring down their overall exposure to such securities.
According to industry participants, the regulator has asked MFs to inform the unlisted debt issuers about this window and consider this route.
