The Nasdaq-listed private markets investment manager announced the leadership changes on October 16, marking a shift in its executive structure as it continues expanding globally.

Hamilton Lane named Hartley Rogers as co-chief executive officer alongside Juan Delgado-Moreira, while Erik Hirsch, formerly co-CEO, takes on the role of executive co-chairman.

The Nasdaq-listed private markets investment manager announced the leadership changes on October 16, marking a shift in its executive structure as it continues expanding globally.

Rogers has served on the firm’s board since 2004 and will remain chairman of the board. His involvement spans investing, client relations, and strategic development, drawing on decades of experience in private markets. He has worked closely with Delgado-Moreira, who assumed the co-CEO role earlier this year on January 1, 2024.

“Hamilton Lane has been on a strong growth trajectory for years,” Rogers said in a statement. “I look forward to working alongside Juan to continue the client-first approach that we are known for.” He emphasized that today’s environment demands dedicated leadership to drive strategic growth amid rapid technological change, and he sees Hirsch as the ideal partner for handling these shifts.

Delgado-Moreira, based in Hong Kong, noted that clients and their portfolios remain central to the firm’s mission. The two co-CEOs will operate across time zones, coordinating efforts between Asia and the U.S.

“From Hong Kong and the U.S., we will work side by side and across time zones to build on that foundation,” Delgado-Moreira added, “continuing to develop investment solutions around our clients’ needs and support their long-term success.”

Hirsch, a 25-year veteran of the firm, has held multiple roles including chief investment officer, vice chairman, and most recently co-CEO. In his new capacity, he will lead strategic initiatives focused on long-term growth, a continuation of his evolving contributions over the years. He will also continue representing the firm publicly, speaking with media and participating in earnings calls, while remaining a board member.

“The industry is rapidly evolving, driven by both technological changes and an expanding client base,” Hirsch said.
